The bell rings as the driver of the van delivers a package. A gift, clothing, toiletries, or books has travelled across a large part of the world before it arrives. Many hands have moved the package along with conveyor belts, forklift-trucks, containers, ships, trucks or planes on a journey to its destination.
In addition to the journey, many other aspects play a role, such as working conditions, pollution, pricing, etc. Not wanting to pass judgment, I do want people to realize what it means to get a package delivered.
My annoyance with the tremendous amount of packages gives me energy to react.
We order often something on the internet without thinking, and even return it, because it's all so easy.
